KU800/19 BUCKET WHEEL EXCAVATOR TIP RECONSTRUCTION - NOEN, a.s.

General description

In 2010, reconstruction of the tip of the KU800/19 bucket wheel excavator used in Bílina Mines (Doly Bílina) was performed. As far as the mechanical part is concerned, reconstruction included modernization and supply of these main parts:

• The bucket wheel with buckets and a shield behind the bucket wheel
• The bucket wheel axis with unique mounting of the bucket wheel and the gearbox
• The complete bucket wheel drive with the gearbox (without an output gear) and a cover
• Wear ring
• The charging hopper at the bucket wheel with a part of the front belt conveying line
• Walkways to a front part of the bucket wheel boom
• Single-rotor grater
• Protection against collisions with the surroundings
• Central grease lubrication

The following was supplied for the electrical part:

• Overhaul of electric motors for drives of the bucket wheel and the grater
• Cabling, lighting, emergency stops, walk sensing, etc.
