DESIGNING IS OUR GAME
These are belt conveyors having a width of 1,800 mm intended for conveyance of overburden from the 2nd overburden section. The line consists of the existing face belt conveyors PD 502 and PD 504, the existing connecting belt conveyors PD 506 and PD 511, the new tail belt conveyors PD 922, PD 923, PD 924, PD 925, PD 926, the new face belt conveyor PD 921 and the new tripper car B = 1,800 mm on crawlers. The central part of conveyors consists of non-sequenced central parts, equipped with festoon benches.
The driving station is of a two-drum type movable by means of OKJ 130 P units. The basic supporting steel structure consists of a latticed central part and solid-web front and rear parts. A single-module switching station is mounted on the steel structure above the driving station, the tensioning winch is mounted on a platform behind the switching station. The conveyor driving station is equipped with four 500 kW drives – 2 pcs for the upper drum, 2 pcs for the lower drum.
The conveyor belt tensioning mechanism consists of a tension carriage, a tensioning winch, and a rope system with rope pulleys. The rope system ratio is i = 6, the tensioning path length is L = 16 m. The tensioning device operates in the automatic mode, is controlled by the central control system and adjusts the tensioning force as required by the belt conveyor operation. All the new driving stations for the belt conveyors PD 921-926 are equipped with the second tensioning mechanism in the leading part.
The reversing station is designed with a sliding charging hopper and an inserted impact chute making it possible to mitigate impacts of large pieces of material on the conveyor belt.
The driving station is mounted on a pontoon adapted for OKJ 130P attachment.
